Remember me? The guy who just fell off the radar a couple of months ago without warning? Yeah...sorry about that.

Anyway I'm back! How are you all? It's been a while, and a lot has happened since I took a break, so I decided what better way to return than with an update, getting you all up to speed with what's been happening. So I highly recommend making yourself a cuppa, grabbing a blanket and getting cosy, as we've got some catching up to do.

It's been nearly 3 months since I uploaded anything on here or my Instagram, and I should probably start with what's going to be happening for the foreseeable future. Yes I am going to be getting back into blog posts, however there won't be any set in stone schedule that I'm going to stick to. Even though that might be a pain for a lot of people, it's the best way for my blog posts to be the best they can be, and for me to not stress myself out 24/7 haha. So I'm gonna be uploading posts whenever I can and want to, if that's ok. The best place to keep up to date with my blog is over on my twitter (@JaredDavies02), I let you all know whenever I've uploaded a new post over there, so get following!

Now that that's cleared up let's move onto the more interesting stories. If you've been reading my blog for a little while, you'll know that I've done a couple of posts around my job and how to get your first job. I've been there for nearly 9 months, however there's no better way to say this but I've now quit. I know mad eh?? It's so weird to now be leaving after looking for one for ages, applying to about 20, and being eager to earn my own money, and I've now done it. There's a couple of reasons why I've left, but the main one is that I rarely had any time for myself. I'd be at college 4 days a week, work at the weekend, and then on my day off I'd be doing college work, so there wasn't really any break. Some people will have a problem and say that I'm ungrateful, and that I'm taking the job for granted, which is just the furthest away from the truth you can get. Sometimes you have to put yourself first, and take care, because I've been sent home from work with exhaustion before, and I basically don't want to be sent home again. I honestly just need a break, have my weekends back and focus on college a bit more. My last day was yesterday, and I don't think it's properly sunk in yet that I've actually left, it's feels pretty strange, however I know that'll I thank myself in a few weeks.

University. This subject has been racing around my head for quite a long time. I'm currently in my second year of college, so next year is the year that a lot of people will take the plunge into uni life. For a very long time, I was adamant that I wasn't going. Didn't want to carry on with education, didn't want to move out, I was so set on not going. I have a clear career path in mind, and have done for a while, however that weren't many options to go into it without going to university. It was a bit of a last minute decision, which doesn't sound the best, but it worked out well. One night, I just thought "what about going to uni?" to myself, without warning, as I'd previously mentioned that I wasn't planning on going. Before all of this, I'd booked a weekend off work due to family coming down, however those plans were rearranged, so I had a completely free weekend, which also happened to be the weekend of the open day to the uni I thought about going to. Bit of a coincidence don't you think. Without boring you all, I attended the open day, and as soon as I stepped into the building, I instantly felt comfortable, it felt right in an odd way. A couple of months later, I applied, had my interview, and have now accepted an unconditional offer. It's all just happened so quick, that I haven't really had time to process it all! I am going to be moving out into halls next year; bit nerve-wracking but fingers crossed I get only with the people I'll be living with. Also, good luck to whoever they are because I can be an absolute pain to live with (sorry in advance).

So that's pretty much everything to catch you up on. It's been quite the few months, but I'm looking forward to relaxing over Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, the day I'm uploading this is Christmas Eve Eve (yes that is a thing, thank you), so I wanna say a massive Merry Christmas to everyone, I hope you relax, eat all the food, and spend time with all your loved ones. If you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you have a relaxing day anyway (we all deserve one at this time of year!).

I'm planning on doing a 'round up of 2019 and goals for 2020' post, aiming to be up on New Year's Eve, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Until next time...Merry Christmas!
